They each have species-dependant abilities, sizes, shapes and traits aswell as a natural affinity towards the use of catalyzers (Magic) in most cases. The Soviet origin is for normal humans, but they have access to powerful military equipment, though still are mainly glass cannons. [[Soviet1]] [[Zvernarod1]](text-colour:red)[Privyet Comrade!] //Before you lock in your decision with the Soviets, let me tell you some more about them, you can always go back with the arrow on the top left.// In summary, the KSEV stands for "Committee of Soviet Expeditionary Forces" as they were formed with the sudden mysterious appearence of a portal in siberia during the 1980, at which time the Soviet Union and the cold war was at its full swing. The military was poured in to conquer the new lands, be it for communism or for their resources, they captured vast lands and set up countless infrastructure in Novymirn as their supplies and reinforcements from the motherland were practically endless. Until early 90s, the portal suddenly closes and cuts all connection with the KSEV and the rest of the Soviet Union, and in the following 10 years they experience overwhelming defeats that make them retreat to their capital-fortress, where they have now taken a defensive stance and no longer have the capability or need to expand, yet the Zvernarod or locals, arent still happy with their presence yet also lack the capability to wipe their last stronghold, so at the current time there is a cold war between the two, neither of them are very keen to one another. Character height for this species is around 1.5 meters tall, relatively short. In summary, zvernarod are the result of genetic evolution that has been, quite literally, corrupted with human dna, meaning that it took a Tvari (feral animal) of Novymirn and evolved them into anthro-humanoids that resemblence them. There is a broad range of zvernarod that go from the most contaminated, akin to a regular human but with ears and tail, to the least contaminated, fur skin, snouts, paws, etc, more beast like, and the latter retain the most characteristics including abilities of the tvari. Given the zvernarod are the natives of Novymirn, they have a easier time and affinity towards using catalyzers (magic), though it is considered taboo and against zvernarod kin to use soviet weapons, yet they still have the capabilities to forge and blacksmith impressive equipment. This is basically if your character physiology/biology leans more to being a human or a tvari (feral animal), as explained before, the more contaminated the more human the least contaminated the more animal. [[Continue->zequipment1]] The first and most important item at your disposal is your catalyzer, which is the way your character makes magic, technically its optional since you can be a melee fighter yet you still need it to use melee related magic too. Its free for you to choose the effect of your magic, just know you only have one at the beginning and can get more later, catalyzer are most commonly items that as long as you use them you can use their effect, which can be from simple stuff as fireball, healing or strenght, to more creative uses, such as a steaming hot water shot, slowness on targets, etc. Can be a status effect, a projectile, a bonus, a passive, a support, it will be subject to balancing and approval ofcourse, so stuff like teleportation or insta kills or god-like stuff will be prohibited or heavily nerfed with caviats.
